Our Story
Some dreams are passed down, carried forward for those who inspire us most.
This dream began with Silke Crombie. She was more than a racer, she was a force: fearless, vibrant, and endlessly encouraging, especially to women in motorsports. For her sidecar she envisioned an all-female team, built on strength, skill, and camaraderie. Sadly, in October 2023, Silke raced for the last time. The motorsports community may have lost a true light, but her legacy lives on.
Themiscyra Racing was born from that legacy.
According to Greek mythology, Themiscyra was the capital city of the Amazons, a society of fierce, independent women defined by strength and discipline. That spirit drives us forward.
We race in honor of Silke and give women the opportunity to chase their dreams at full speed, pushing boundaries, building community, and inspiring the next generation in motorsports.
This is more than racing. This is legacy in motion.
